7. Felt Flower Garden Mobile

Florals suit nurseries that lean toward cottage style, and a felt flower mobile lets you use up small felt scraps in a satisfying way.
Make five to seven flowers, each built from layered petal shapes in different colors. Cut a circle base for each flower, then layer petals around it and stitch through the center with a contrasting thread or a small felt circle. Leaves can be flat and stitched onto the stems. Suspend each flower at a slightly different height so the arrangement looks like it is growing.
Materials: felt scraps in blush, cream, sage, lavender, and mustard, embroidery floss, a wooden hoop, twine, and optional small beads for flower centers. About three hours for a full set.
This project is a great way to use leftover felt from other crafts, and you can match the colors to a quilt or a wall print you already have. Keep the flowers under three inches wide so the mobile does not feel crowded.
