5. Santa Claus Stocking with Belt and Boots
Santa’s making a list and checking it twice—and this stocking is sure to be on the “nice” list! Kids will love creating a jolly old St. Nick stocking with his signature belt and boots.
Materials: Red, white, black, and yellow felt, fabric glue, scissors, and cotton balls (for the beard).
Instructions: Cut a stocking shape from red felt. For Santa’s face, glue a white cotton ball beard at the top, then add a small black felt belt with a yellow buckle in the middle. Cut two small black rectangles for boots and glue them at the bottom corners of the stocking. Add a black marker face if desired. Glue the front and back pieces together.
Time: 30 minutes
Difficulty: Beginner to Intermediate
Customization: Use a tiny piece of white felt for Santa’s hat brim or add a felt sack of presents at the bottom.
